One week until IFP social media conference
There is one week to go until the Institute of Financial Planning's social media conference next Thursday (28 February).
The conference will be held at the America Square Conference Centre in the City of London from 9.00am to 4.45pm.
It will inform delegates of why social media is so vital in business, how to add a personal touch to marketing, best practice strategies and defining goals and objectives.
The decision to hold the conference follows feedback from last year's IFP annual conference where delegates expressed a desire to learn more about social media.
Speakers include Justine Priestley from Really Bright Media who will be speaking on utilising social media to showcase your business and Bridget Greenwood from Financial Social Media on integrating social media into your business with care. She will also be talking about social media strategies and compliance.

Other speakers include Philip Calvert from LifeTalk (formerly IFA Life) on LinkedIn essentials and Morris Pentel from Customer Experience Foundation on using social media via mobile phones and tablets.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: "Many IFP members are already highly engaged with social media and seeing positive results. As social media evolves and consumer behaviour changes it is really important to consider strategies that allow you to be seen as a centre of influence online in the areas that you operate."
The conference qualifies for six hours of CPD.
Tickets cost £130 for IFP members and £182 for non-IFP members and are available via the IFP website.
