Record attendance for this week's IFP Paraplanner Conference
The IFP's sell-out annual Paraplanner Conference will get under way this evening with record attendance for the annual event.
There will be a pre-conference dinner this evening followed by a packed day of sessions tomorrow plus an exhibtion and break-out sessions all aimed at Paraplanners.
IFP events and membership director Katherine Morgans said: "I'm pleased to say the event is a sell out with over 100 Paraplanners attending and overall we have a record number going.
"The strong support for the event shows that Paraplanners are truly making it happen. At the conference, we’re looking forward to a great attendance and, as ever, we're anticipating a valuable and fun-packed couple of days. The mix of the pre-conference dinner, insightful sessions, networking and competitions and exhibitors will make for a fantastic event."
The conference will be chaired by experienced Paraplanner Martin Vaughan CFPCM and is lead sponsored by IFP Corporate Member Just Retirement. It is taking place at the Chesford Grange Hotel near Warwick on 21 and 22 May.
There will be keynote sessions from industry experts such as Mark Polson of The LangCat and leading Paraplanners such as Gemma Siddle CFPCM, Joanna Hague CFPCM and Clare Goodwin APP.
An optional pre-conference workshop about building a Financial Plan will be run on the first day by Richard Gough CFPCM.
Among the headline guest speakers will be John Dashfield from Dashfield Coaching & Development.
His session will address how business people are keen to improve their time management, decision making and the quality of their communications. Mr Dashfield will share how to 'unleash the hidden performance factor'.
