Paraplanning's ‘Big Day Out’ on the way
The Paraplanners’ Assembly, the support and training network for Paraplanners, is to hold its annual 'Big Day Out' event on 12 September.
The popular event, often attended by 100 Paraplanners and guests, will be preceded the night before by the Big Night In BBQ.
The Paraplanners’ Assembly describes the Big Day Out as, “unlike any other event in the world of financial advice.”
Attendees set much of the agenda themselves and dictate the topics for discussion, sharing knowledge and ideas in a farm-based conference centre.
The event will take place at the FarmED, in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
The Paraplanners’ Assembly says of the event: “In fact, it’s more like a retreat really. The kind of experience that restores the soul, refreshes the mind, and leaves you so full of vim that people might mistake you for a new source of renewable energy.”
Tickets for the event are £40 to keep it affordable for all Paraplanners.
Among the topics being covered this year are development plans and getting the most from apps.
Speakers will include Sam Tonks of Succession Wealth, Chris Wormwell of Wesleyan Financial Services, Les Cameron of M&G Wealth, Natalie Howard of Canaccord Genuity, Heather Hopkins of NextWealth, Rachael Hurdman of Arch Inspire, Gareth Davies of Scottish Widows and Brian Radbone of Transact.
