Rapidly expanding national Financial Planning firm Perspective Financial Group has hired a new chief operating officer and made a number of senior hires.
The new chief operating officer is Iain McKenzie who has many years of experience in operational leadership, business transformation and financial services growth.
He is joined by Jeff Scott and Jens Bech, newly appointed as non-executive directors, and Philip Northey and David Berry as regional directors.
Perspective claims to be one of the UK's fastest-growing Financial Planning and wealth management groups.
In his new role, Mr McKenzie will oversee the teams and infrastructure that support Perspective's advisers, clients and acquired businesses, Perspective says.
He said: "I was attracted by Perspective's culture, the quality of its people and the ambition for the next stage of its growth. Perspective has already built a strong business and I see a real opportunity to continue strengthening the infrastructure, support functions and capabilities that help advisers and colleagues deliver outstanding client outcomes."
"My focus will be on ensuring we have the people, technology and operational foundations required to support sustainable growth while preserving the culture and local identity that have made Perspective successful."
New non-exec director Jeff Scott returns to Perspective having previously served as chairman from 2019 to 2024. He has more than 30 years' experience in financial services, including a decade as CEO of Santander Asset Management.
Jens Bech joins the board with more than 25 years' experience in financial services. Most recently he was group commercial director at OSB Group. He served as chief risk officer and played a key role in the business's growth, including its IPO, acquisitions and merger with Charter Court Financial Services.
The new regional leaders include the appointment of Philip Northey, who has three decades of leadership experience in financial services, and the promotion of David Berry to regional director.
Perspective CEO Ian Wilkinson said: "These appointments reflect our continued investment in the future of Perspective."
"As we have grown, it has become increasingly important that we continue to strengthen the infrastructure, support functions, governance and leadership capability that sit behind our advisers and client-facing teams. Our goal is not simply to grow, but to grow in the right way, ensuring we continue delivering exceptional outcomes for clients while supporting colleagues and preserving the values that have underpinned our success."
"Iain's appointment as chief operating officer significantly strengthens our executive leadership team and reflects the importance we place on investing in our people, technology, integration capabilities and operational infrastructure. The appointments of Jeff and Jens further enhance the depth of experience and strategic oversight on our Board, while Philip and David strengthen our regional leadership capability."
Perspective has acquired more than 138 financial advice businesses and says it is looking to continue to expand.
