Perspective Financial Group passes £2bn in Funds Under Management
Perspective Financial Group has passed £2bn in funds under management following the acquisition of Oxfordshire practice McGrath Rathbone this month.
The firm has reached this milestone in just over three years since it launched in 2008.
Funds under management have risen 30 per cent since December 2010 and the firm has acquired three firms so far during 2011.
The total number of firms now stands at 23 and it expects to make several more purchases before the end of 2011.
The Group puts the success down to acquisition and strong organic growth.
Damian Keeling, managing director of Perspective Financial Group, said: “Breaking through the £2bn funds under management mark is another major milestone for Perspective and to have achieved this in a relatively short space of time is a considerable achievement for us.
“We are particularly pleased in the level of organic growth in client assets which are increasing though the winning of new business and through solid performances in existing client portfolios.”
The acquisition of McGrath Rathbone was announced on 4 July and is run by directors Peter McGrath and John Rathbone. It has an annual turnover of £800k and £100m of funds under management.
John Rathbone, director of McGrath Rathbone, said: “Becoming part of Perspective Financial Group offers us a great deal in terms of access to products and expertise and to ensuring that the firm is ready for the regulatory changes ahead of us.”
