More than 200 Financial Planners and Paraplanners are set to attend the sell-out first PFS PowerLive event in the Midlands today.
The event, at the National Conference Centre, Solihull, will focus on the practical elements of Financial Planning and Paraplanning and feature many leading Financial Planners presenting seminars.
It will feature sessions entitled ‘Turning ROI to a Return on Life’, ‘The true scope of Financial Planning’, ‘Using the latest technology to enhance your proposition’, ‘Helping clients behave their way to true wealth’ and ‘Becoming a trusted coach’
Delegates can also join ‘The great cash flow debate’.
Organisers described the event as: “Developed by practitioners to help you and your business deliver the ultimate value proposition to your clients.”
There will be a keynote speech from Mitch Anthony, as well as a ‘Financial Planner Plus’ session led by Kevin Deamer among a full programme of events.
PFS chief executive, Keith Richards said: “The response from members to this debut event has been extremely positive in line with our commitment to evolve a much broader and relevant CPD programme to meet the evolving needs of members.
“Supported by our Financial Planning practitioner panel, the emphasis is on the sharing of good practice and soft skills together with the development of planning strategies to meet the changing needs of consumers.”
“We are continually evolving and innovating our programme, and PowerLive continues the theme of last year’s Festival of Financial Planning - underlining the importance of the role professional financial advice plays in modern society and the genuine power it has to change lives for the better.”
