Wealth manager and Financial Planner Redmayne Bentley has appointed Pete Donaldson as head of Financial Planning as it continues to expand its Financial Planning operation.
He joins from Mattioli Woods where he had been regional director for six months.
Mr Donaldson has more than 30 years’ experience in wealth management and Financial Planning. He has held senior roles in bank-based financial services and at independent adviser firms.
He spent 11 months as commercial director at AFH Wealth Management and before that spent almost four years at Fairstone Group, including nine months as managing director, growth. There he oversaw the onboarding and integration of firms and developing professional partnerships across the UK.
Prior to that he spent almost 17 years at HSBC ending as senior manager, strategic wealth distribution transformation. He led major changes, including introducing its first digital client journey and remote advisory teams.
He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Redmayne Bentley said Mr Donaldson’s appointment reflected the firm's continued investment in the development of its Financial Planning service.
