Adviser network and services provider Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has appointed Craig Ross in the newly created role of proposition director to lead the expansion of its wealth and protection services to Financial Planners.

He will lead the newly formed propositions team whose focus is on expanding SBG’s solutions and tolls to help Financial Planning firms run their businesses more efficiently.

Mr Ross will join SBG next week from Charles Stanley where he is director of Financial Planning proposition. Previous to Charles Stanley he was head of proposition deliver at 1825 Financial Planning.

He has also held roles at Baker Tilly Financial Management and Rowanbank Financial Consultants.

SBG currently provides compliance services to over 800 directly authorised firms, encompassing over 3,500 advisers.

In January SBG gave expanded roles to Richard Howells and Ross Liston as part of an exec reshuffle. 

Mr Howells moved from his role as managing director of Sesame Network to become Sesame Bankhall Group’s chief operating officer.

Mr Liston, formerly managing director of Bankhall and PMS Mortgage Club, is now Sesame Bankhall Group’s managing director for distribution.
