Scottish Widows unveils auto-enrolment platform
Scottish Widows, a sponsor of the Institute of Financial Planning, has unveiled its auto-enrolment platform for employers.
The AssistMe platform will help employers of all sizes meet their auto-enrolment obligations when it comes into effect for the largest firms in October.
Features include a single interface for dealing with contributions, opt-outs, re-enrolment and payroll systems and easy configuration with businesses' existing pension schemes.
It also provides employers with all the communication and compliance templates and reports they require to show they have complied with new legislation.
For employers who require a segmented approach, the platform allows use of the People's Pension or Nest for auto-enrolment purposes alongside Scottish Widows group personal pension.
Lynn Graves, head of business development for corporate pensions, said: "Technology and employer flexibility are crucial to making auto-enrolment a success and we have built these into the very heart of our new solution.
"Many employers have diverse workforces and our new AssistMe solution can address this challenge by offering choice of providers through the combined expertise of Scottish Widows, The People's Pension or Nest depending on the needs of their own organisation.
"This will ensure employees are enrolled into an appropriate scheme and making the right decisions for their financial futures."
