Seven IM launches national Retirement Challenge roadshows
Seven Investment Management is to launch a series of regional adviser roadshows entitled: 'The Retirement Challenge', visiting 12 locations throughout the UK in January and February.
Hosting the event will be Seven IM's senior managers including: Tom Sheridan, chief executive, Justin Urquhart Stewart, co-founder and head of corporate development, and Verona Smith, head of platform.
Seven IM's investment team will discuss the economic and political backdrop, risks and opportunities and the challenges of demanding valuations, low bond yields and unusually low volatility. They will also explore why an increasing number of institutional players are looking at the alternatives space for solutions.
On a rotating basis, Seven IM's speakers include Ian Jensen-Humphreys, chief investment officer, Alex Scott, chief strategist; Matthew Yeates, quantitative investment manager and Ben Kumar, investment manager.
Other Key speakers will include:
- Steve Bee, pensions strategist and chief executive of Jargonfree Benefits. Steve will be tackling a number of hot pension topics including DB transfers.
- Mark Polson, Principal & Mike Barrett, consulting director who will discuss ‘have you got your centralised retirement proposition nailed?’
- Tony Wickenden, joint managing director & Nick Edwards, Nick Edwards, Associate, Technical Connection are set address: 'How to embrace tax alpha by utilising the tax wrappers available to clients'. Julia Peake, technical development anager, Sanlam and John Haley, technical sales manager, Utmost, will cover these issues for the Glasgow and Edinburgh events.
- Paul Johnson, director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies & Graeme Codrington, chief executive of Tomorrow Today and The Future of Work Academy will be at the London event to discuss what future retirees can look forward to.
