Tilney boosts Midlands office with new hire
Wealth manager and Financial Planning firm Tilney has recruited Chris Moore from Smith & Williamson as an associate investment director.
He will join the team in the company’s Birmingham office which has been expanded in recent years through recruitment and acquisitions.
Mr Moore worked at Smith & Williamson as an investment manager since 2010. Prior to this, he held roles at Personal Touch Financial Services and Andersen Charnley (now part of Cannacord Genuity Wealth Management).

He will work with external firms of financial advisers and other professional services firms in the Midlands to manage their clients’ portfolios and also alongside Tilney’s own Financial Planners in the region to provide integrated wealth management service to clients.
Alan Edwards, head of investment management at Tilney, said: “Last year we put a great deal of focus on adding to our investment management team across the country, and I am delighted that we are continuing to expand the team in Birmingham with this latest hire.
