Tilney expands advice team with Scottish hires
Financial Planning and investment management group Tilney has hired two new members to its advice team.
Graham Murphy and James Reekie have been appointed as associate advisers at the firm’s Edinburgh office.
Both Mr Murphy and Mr Reekie will join the company’s telephone advice service, which offers an advice service to clients across the region.
Mr Murphy has had a long career in the financial services industry, holding a number of roles, including 10 years as a financial adviser at Bank of Scotland Bancassurance.
Most recently he has worked for Natwest Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland as a client portfolio executive and a file review manager respectively.
Mr Reekie joins from Royal London intermediary where he spent nearly four years in a number of roles, including pensions business support consultant.
Most recently, he spent nearly three years as a telephone account manager.
Tilney is one of a small number of firms with an office presence in the Scotland’s three largest cities: Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
