Total number of IFP Accredited Financial Planning Firms tops 40
The Institute of Financial Planning has announced five more firms have joined its prestigious Accredited Financial Planning FirmsTM register.
James Harvey Associates in London, Loch Fyne Financial Management in Glasgow, Hampshire-based Buckle, Green and Partners, Heron House Financial Management in Wales and Somerset-based Direction Financial Planning have all been added to the register this week.
These new additions bring the total number of firms to over 40.
These firms will work with the IFP and other Accredited Financial Planning Firms to raise awareness of the importance of Financial Planning.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: “I’m delighted we have now recognised over 40 firms who have met the demanding standards to become Accredited Financial Planning Firms. These firms represent the ultimate standard of excellence for Financial Planning firms to aspire towards.
“We now look forward to the inaugural exclusive conference for Accredited Firms on 22 March which will further establish these firms as leaders in the profession.”
To be recognised as an Accredited Financial Planning Firm, firms must show they follow the IFP’s code of ethics and practice and demonstrate the highest standards of Financial Planning practice.
