Trio launch Financial Planning firm in Prestwick
Three experienced Financial Planners have set up their own new Financial Planning firm called Juniper based at Prestwick in Ayrshire, Scotland.
Juniper Financial Planning is an appointed representative of Quilter Financial Services.
Ross Hunter, Scott Moore, and Euan Brown previously worked as senior Financial Planners for The Munro Partnership, an IFA business based in Ayr which was taken over in 2016 by 1825, Standard Life’s wholly-owned Financial Planning business, which later became part of Abrdn Financial Planning.
The trio have a collective 50 years experience working in firms such as Standard Life, Abrdn, Barclays, BDO and Grant Thornton.
Ross Hunter and Euan Brown are both Chartered Financial Planners while Scott Moore is a Certified Financial Planner.
Mr Hunter, the managing director of the new firm, served as an infantry officer in the British Army for 16 years before becoming a Financial Planner.
They said Juniper’s mission, “is to deliver Financial Planning with a personalised touch that helps clients prepare for the future, while counselling them during times of financial or emotional stress.”
Ross Hunter said: “We all have experience working for both large corporate firms and smaller boutique companies and we have designed Juniper to combine the best of both worlds for our clients and we believe the Quilter proposition best helps us achieve this.
“We have set up our office back in Ayrshire, which will remain our base but will retain our national reach in order to service our clients across the UK.”
Quilter Financial Planning has added Juniper Financial Planning as a new strategic partner to its network.
Stephen Fryett, managing director of Quilter Financial Planning, said: “The firm’s aspirations closely align with our own, and we look forward to supporting the firm’s growth.”
