Two Paraplanners hired by wealth management firm
Two Paraplanners have been added to the team of a wealth management firm.
Reading-based Beaufort Asset Management has hired Paraplanners Chris Knight and Samantha Davids.
Sue Walton has also been appointed as an administrator.
Mr Knight previously worked at a City-based wealth management firm and his new firm said he would provide “highly technical and analytical support and is thoroughly involved in the advice process from start to execution”.

The company said: "He will be responsible for the background research and planning, usually behind the scenes, which is critical in preparing and administering client reports and advisers’ recommendations."
Ms Davids has worked in pensions administration since 2008 with AXA. She will support and assist advisers as they prepare for client meetings, process new business, and help to maintain and build client relationships.
Ms Walton has worked in the financial services industry for the last 27 years, for both large providers and financial advisers.
Simon Goldthorpe, Beaufort Asset Management chairman, said: “Putting an experienced support team in place shows how committed we are to building our Financial Planning and advisory team.
“It is pivotal to have a solid bedrock behind our advisers so that they can provide our clients with the best possible advice and, with the support and help of the qualified Paraplanners and administrators, the best possible financial outcome.
“Beaufort Asset Management celebrates its fifth birthday in June. Working closely with accountants, lawyers and HR specialists, we have built a very successful business and this has only been possible because of contribution of the highly qualified, professional and motivated members of the team.”
