Walker Crips to boost Financial Planning arm
Wealth manager Walker Crips has boosted its Financial Planning division with a raft of hires for its new Southampton office.
The firm has recruited Nick Lee FCSI and Chartered Financial Planner Charles Cavendish FPFS for the new Hampshire regional office based in Southampton and set to open in the summer.
Mr Lee joins the Financial Planning division of Walker Crips as regional director. He has 30 years of experience, including 20 years at Grant Thornton and three years at Gallagher/Argentis.
The firm says in his new role he will divide his time between expanding the Financial Planning and wealth management division and advising high net worth private clients and trustees.
Mr Cavendish also joins the Southampton-based Financial Planning division from Gallagher/Argentis and brings 10 years experience advising at a number of national IFA firms. As associate director, he will work with a variety of trustees and high net worth clients, specialising in estate planning, pensions and investment advice.
Walker Crips says it is expanding its Financial Planning offering in the South with the opening of the Southampton office. Mr Lee and Mr Cavendish are joined by Kris Watts and Jasmine Ng, Paraplanner and wealth administrator respectively, who will also be based in the new office.
Dominic Martin, managing director of Walker Crips Wealth Management, said: “The Walker Crips Wealth Management Division is going from strength to strength and we’re excited to welcome Nick, Charles, Kris and Jasmine to our new Southampton office. The opening of the branch this summer is a continuation of our ambitious growth plans in the Financial Planning market, and the team’s depth and wealth of experience will without doubt further advance our service offering to clients.”
