Gary Neville, the former Manchester United player, has been named as the star guest at an AJ Bell conference.

The Sky Sports pundit and ex-England right back will be the ‘after party’ guest speaker at its Investival 2015 investment conference on 19 November.

AJ Bell’s marketing director, Billy Mackay, said: “Having Gary agree to join us is the icing on the cake – as well as being a great sports ambassador, he also has a smart head for business which makes his appearance at Investival 2015 even more welcome.”

Neil Woodford, Ian Spreadbury and Edward Bonham Carter are among the othe speakers at the event. BBC presenter Nina Warhurst, will host the conference.

Mr Mackay said: “Advisers have been signing up to the event in their numbers. With very few seats left anyone interested in attending should register soon. The level of demand has shown that advisers are keen to hear from the fund managers and industry experts we have lined up.”

The event, which will take place at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, is already close to selling out its 400 available seats.

The Investival 2015 website is currently still open for registrations, but it is anticipated that the event will sell out in the next few days.
