The inflation rate has dropped to 1.6%, the Office for National Statistics has announced.
The Consumer Prices Index fell from its previous level of 1.7% in February, and it had been at 1.9% in January.

It marks the third consecutive month that the measure has been below the Bank of England's 2% target.
The Retail Prices Index grew by 2.5% in the year ending March 2014, down from 2.7% in February.
CPIH grew by 1.5% in the year to March 2014, down from 1.6% in February. RPIJ grew by 1.8%, down from 2.0% in February.
