Iain Dalling, from True Potential Wealth Management, told Financial Planner magazine that attending a Financial Planning day had inspired him.
He said: “For the last couple of years I have felt that there is something missing with regard to client proposition and servicing. I recently attended, for the first time, an IFP Financial Planning workshop in Edinburgh and I felt it was the lightbulb moment that the IFP talks about.
“I have attended numerous industry meetings in the past where you get beaten up with regulation, technical client scenarios, asset allocation / correlation and so on but this meeting was totally different. It was refreshing, upbeat and really positive. I left feeling inspired and proud of what we do for clients.”
Katherine Morgans, IFP membership & events director, said: “Our Financial Planning days are designed to provide delegates with a sound understanding of the six steps of Financial Planning. We invite experienced Financial Planning professionals, all of whom are CFPCM professionals, to talk about what they do, how and why at each step, so it’s a really great opportunity to see how Financial Planning is put into practice.”
Supported by Aegon, the IFP is offering this event at £50 for IFP members and £70 for non-members.
