Becky becomes youngest ever CISI Manchester President
Becky Jones, who works for investment provider BNY Mellon, has been appointed as the youngest ever President of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment Manchester and North West District Branch.
Ms Jones, 29, replaces David Gorman of Castlefield Investment Partners LLP, who held the position for three years.
She is the second female and the youngest person to be appointed President in the branch’s 21 year history.
She has over five years’ experience in the financial sector and began her career at BNY Mellon in operations before moving to compliance in 2016, where she now works as a compliance officer.
Ms Jones has a Law Degree, the CISI Investment Operations Certificate and is also currently completing the CISI Investment Compliance Diploma.
She said: “I am thrilled to be taking on the role as President of the Manchester and North West District Branch and I would like to thank the outgoing President, David, for his leadership over the previous years and for his continued support.
“I am extremely excited to drive forward the excellent work our Committee does and I look forward to the various CPD, social, educational and Young Professional Network (YPN) events ahead.”
