Chartered Financial Planning firm hires NextGen talent
Chartered Financial Planning Firm Capital Asset Management has announced a double hire, recruiting two new additions from the NextGen Planners group in a bid to attract new talent.
Originally founded by Adam Carolan and Rohan Sivajoti Next, Gen Planners is designed to help young Financial Planners navigate the Financial Planning world and enter the sector by offering training, master classes and foundation courses. The organisation also holds conferences and meetings which brings together members and experts from the Financial Planning profession.
Alan Smith, chief executive of Capital Asset Management, said: "The Financial Planning profession is at a major crossroads and there will be winners and losers as the inevitable changes play out. We have built an extraordinary culture at Capital with a unique blend of youth and experience and some of the brightest and most client focussed people around."
James Mousley joins as a senior associate and is coordinator for the NextGen Planners group for London. Mr Mousley said: “I have been a fan of Capital for some time and really admire the culture and values that the firm stands for. I'm thrilled to be joining them at such an exciting time and look forward to becoming part of their ongoing success".
Sean Banks, who is also active in the NextGen community and runs his own personal finance blog, joins as an associate to support the Chartered Financial Planners and directors at Capital. He said: "To be joining a Chartered Financial Planning Firm of the Year at this point of my career is an amazing opportunity and I can't wait to get involved with the team to help make a positive impact for clients and the profession.”
Mr Smith added: "I'm thrilled that James and Sean have agreed to join us and we expect to make more announcements this year as we continue to build on the strong platform we've created. We remain open to speak to advisers and IFA business owners considering their own options".
