Chartered Planner is keynote at PFS Paraplanning event
Amira Norris, a business development director with more than 20 years’ experience across all areas of Financial Planning, will be the keynote speaker at the Personal Finance Society (PFS) 2024 Purely Paraplanning event.
The event will feature industry experts covering key topics including sustainability, technology and AI, impactful report writing and neurodiversity.
Ms Norris is a Chartered Financial Planner, PFS Fellow and recipient of the 2022 and 2023 Women in Financial Advice ‘Woman of Year – Platforms Award’. She is head of sales and strategic partnerships at Wealthtime.
Ms Norris said: "I champion deeper connectivity, via strong partnerships and true digitisation and am dedicated to building inclusive cultures where everyone belongs."
Other sessions at the event will include:
- Financial Planning with intelligence and insight, with Rohit Vaish, founder of Saturn AI, a data automation platform for wealth management and financial advisory firms
- Peering into the gender pensions gap, with Caitlin Southall, pension technical manager at Nucleus Financial
- Trusts as part of an intergenerational wealth planning strategy, with Neil Macleod, a Chartered Financial Planner who has worked in financial services for more than 20 years
- How to assess the quality and value of business relief investments, with Victoria Barber, head of strategic partnerships at TIME Investments
- Diversity of thought, with Jon Dunckley, founding director of the About Consulting Group
The event to be held in St Pauls, City of London on 8 May will offer nearly seven hours of CPD.
Philip Greenwood of the PFS Paraplanning panel said she hoped the event would be thought-provoking for attendees.He said: “We want members to walk away from the event feeling inspired, full of ideas and fresh knowledge.
