CISI Financial Planning Conference heads to Liverpool
The CISI’s annual Financial Planning Conference, one of the biggest events in the Financial Planning calendar, will take place this year on 6 October in Liverpool.
The main conference will take place at the Grade 1 listed Merseyside Maritime Museum, Royal Albert Dock and include more than 20 expert presenters, 17 sessions and three content streams.
Some 500 Financial Planners are expected to attend.
A full day’s CPD will take place between 9.30am and 5.30pm and conference and dinner package tickets cost £445 for members and £472 for non-members.
The event will be hosted by journalist and BBC Radio Merseyside broadcaster Ngunan Adamu.
The conference will be followed by a black tie gala featuring The Financial Planning Awards 2022 and live music. The venue for the evening event is Liverpool’s neoclassical Grade 1 listed building, St George’s Hall.
The conference programme just been announced and new for this year is the tech hub with live demonstrations.
Conference speakers include:
- Emily Shepperd, chief operating officer and executive director, authorisations FCA: 'The impact of transformation at the FCA for you, your clients and business.'
- Makala Green, CEO, Green Wealth Planning: 'Young, high earners: working with influencers, sports and entertainment professionals.'
- Julian Gilbert CFP Chartered MCSI, CEO, Wealth Matters: 'There’s not a lot out there: growing your team from within.'
- George King IV, Senior Wealth Manager, MASECO: 'To B or not to B (Corp).'
Other speakers include Abraham Okusanya CFP Chartered MCSI, Tim Harford, LJ Rich and Rebecca Aldridge CFP MCSI.
