DFM hires CISI Fellow as it expands bespoke HNW service
DFM Whitechurch Securities has hired a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments.
The Bristol based Wealth Manager has expanded its investment team with the appointment of Tom Sayers as a senior investment manager.
Mr Sayers was previously at Beaufort Securities where he was responsible for heading up the Bristol office and instrumental in building Beaufort's presence in the South West.
He has more than 11 years of experience looking after the day to day running of client portfolios.
He will help to further develop and expand the Personally Tailored Service which offers bespoke DFM solutions to High Net Worth clients.
Under the Personally Tailored Service, Whitechurch Investment Managers work closely with intermediaries who seek to outsource the investment management of their clients’ assets - with a minimum investment of £250,000. Such clients may also require specific investment / tax planning criteria. This service is also suited to managing mandates for pension funds, trusts and charities.
Gavin Haynes, Whitechurch managing director, said: “Tom brings with him considerable investment management experience and a strong awareness of the wealth management environment.
“Bespoke solutions require personal day-to-day attention and we were getting close to capacity in the number of bespoke portfolios the team could manage effectively.
“Tom will work within the Whitechurch Investment Team, to ensure that clients continue to receive the consistency of the Whitechurch Investment approach whilst having a dedicated investment manager to ensure a high quality of service.”
