Financial Planner and wealth manager Evelyn Partners has appointed David Little as a partner in Financial Planning at its Glasgow office.
Mr Little joins from 7IM Private Client where he was senior financial planning director.
He is a Chartered Financial Planner and a fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Evelyn Partners said his appointment would strengthen its Financial Planning and investment services to clients across Scotland. The firm also has offices in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
Stephen Parker, managing partner at Evelyn Partners, said: “David brings a wealth of experience built over 25 years in the sector and shares our commitment to deliver high quality financial planning services to our clients. His strategic thinking will be invaluable as we continue with our ambitious plans to further grow our Scottish business.”
Mr Little said the refocus of Evelyn Partners onto wealth management has increased the attraction of the firm.
In March Evelyn Partners completed the sale of its professional services business to funds advised by Apax for an undisclosed amount.
Mr Little said: “It’s an exciting time to come on board, as the firm refocuses solely on wealth management, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.”
Evelyn Partners has made senior appointments in recent months.
At the start of this month Sean Haegerty, former managing director and head of Vanguard Europe, joined the firm’s board as a non-executive director.
In April the wealth manager and Financial Planner appointed former Paysafe and Betfair CFO Alex Gersh as its new chief financial officer and an executive director.
Evelyn Partners had £63bn of assets under management as at 31 December 2024.
In March it reported a 12% rise in profits for 2024 despite a 68% drop in net inflows (year-on-year).
In the first quarter it appointed a new Financial Planning director for its London team, as well as two Financial Planners and an investment manager to its Leeds and Newcastle offices.
In December it added a new Financial Planner in London to boost its near 300-strong national Financial Planning team.
