The former chief executive of the National Employment Savings Trust has been awarded a CBE in the New Year’s honours list.
Tim Jones, who moved on to help set up a new company called Tibado in February, has been given the gong for services to the pensions industry and pension provision.
Helen Dean, his successor as chief executive of NEST, said: “This is a fantastic testament to all that Tim Jones achieved as chief executive of NEST. We’d like to offer our hearty congratulations to Tim on being awarded a CBE, it’s very well deserved.
