Saunderson House has embraced technology by launching a new webinar aimed at barristers who are due to retire or move to the Bench.
The job-specific innovation will look at whether barristers are on track for their retirement.
Addressing barristers directly, via the website Legal Futures, Simon Maydon, associate director, Saunderson House, said: “As you progress towards the end of your career as a barrister, you may have more complex and unique Financial Planning requirements, such as how to draw down your pension savings tax efficiently and around Inheritance Tax Planning.”
He urged senior legal professionals to “take 15 minutes” of their time to watch the short webinar which he says will “walk you through the key financial considerations for barristers who are approaching retirement or embarking on the next stage of their career as a Judge.”
The webinar, which features Chartered Financial Planner Daniel Burrows, will seek to answer a number of questions including:
• How can I make sure that my portfolio will provide for my retirement needs?
• How can I generate cash as I wind down my practice?
• How can I help my children financially without quashing their ambitions?
• How can I make sure that my portfolio will provide for my retirement needs?
In addition to the webinar Saunderson House also has a dedicated barristers webpage.
