IFP sponsors Hornbuckle Mitchell and AXA Wealth have announced a series of seminars for advisers looking for new Financial Planning opportunities.
Six seminars, which meet IFP gap-fill requirements, will be held over the next two months in major cities.
The events will be presented by Lisa Webster, senior technical consultant at Hornbuckle Mitchell, covering topics such as pension contributions, investments and benefit options.
She is joined by Shaun Sandiford, business development director at AXA Wealth, on the topic of investment planning on wraps and platforms.
IFP learning outcomes 210-215, 224, 253-255, 257 and 259 (Pensions and Retirement Planning) and 166-169 (Investment Principles and Risk) are met by the seminars.
Ms Webster said: “The rule changes around tax relief and how retirees take pension income have created a lot of opportunities and a few pitfalls too.
“The seminars are designed to highlight those to advisers while helping them move close to the RDR requirements.”
September seminars will take place in London, Exeter and Manchester on 21, 23 and 28 September while October ones will take place in Birmingham, Swindon and Newcastle on the 18, 19 and 27.
