Henderson Joint Investment Forums taking place throughout January
January sees the launch of the Henderson Joint Investment Forums held nationwide.
The first event was held last week in Glasgow and will conclude in Newmarket, Suffolk on 19 January.
The forums have been running for over 10 years and will be held at 10 different locations lasting three hours each.
Over 2,000 people are registered to attend the events nationwide.
Speakers include Suzanne Hutchins from BNY Mellon Asset Management, Chris Burvill from Henderson, Matthew Vaight and Michael Godfrey from M&G Investments and Matthew Dobbs and Richard Sennitt from Schroders.
They will be representing the Absolute Return, Cautious Managed, Emerging Markets and Asian Equity sectors respectively.
Jonathan Willcocks, global head of retails sales at M&G, said: “M&G was one of the founding partners of these events. January is a good month for this sort of event as people are starting to reflect on the forthcoming year and where they want to put their money.
“We aim to give insightful information, we’re not here to sell a product, we want people to leave the event better informed about the funds on offer.”
He said the Emerging Markets fund Mr Vaight and Mr Godfrey would be talking about was at a “critical juncture” having now been around for three years, the key year for researchers who would be looking at the fund’s track record.
