The Institute of Financial Planning has launched a new online consumer newsletter called 'Your Money, Your Life'.
The newsletter will be issued quarterly and will help consumers get to grips with making effective financial plans.
It coincides with the successful Financial Planning Week which has been running all this week.
Topics in the first issue cover mapping out a Financial Plan, finding out attitudes to risk and tips to improve financial fitness.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: "Our Financial Planning Week campaign allows us to highlight all the positive aspects of Financial Planning, including the benefits of professional advice. However, consumers need help throughout the year, not just this week.
"The introduction of these quarterly newsletters which link into help and ideas that are available on an ongoing basis is a great way to continue that work.
"The IFP is committed to building this awareness and education programme around the benefits of Financial Planning."
The Financial Planning Week campaign has been highly successful with coverage in the national press and multiple events in Financial Planning firms around the country.
