Following on from last year’s highly successful Financial Planning Week campaign, the IFP is again leading the way to help consumers improve their financial “fitness” with its fifth annual campaign.
This year’s Financial Planning Week takes place from 26 November. The IFP, its members, sponsors, and other relevant organisations will again all be providing a variety of resources and expertise to help consumers understand more about Financial Planning.
With over seven months to go, IFP members are now being asked to consider what they can do to support the campaign.
Last year, many members ran free financial surgeries for consumers, others went into schools to help students understand more about money while many got involved in supporting the broad media campaign run by the IFP with the support of Holt PR.
If you’re a CFPCM professional, why not help with the “Ask a Planner” facility? It’s an easy way for consumers to post their questions online and an ideal way to promote the expertise of CFP professionals.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, is encouraging everyone to take part this year. He said: “The momentum is really building, but we need everyone’s help to gain maximum impact. By working together we really can put Financial Planning on the map.”
