IFP Sponsor profile: Suffolk Life
Suffolk Life is one of the UK’s leading providers and administrators of self-invested personal pensions (SIPPs). We were established in 1971 and have used our experience and knowledge to build up a centre of SIPP investment excellence.
We place great value on creating long-term relationships that advisers and investors can rely on, and this is reflected in our highly personal approach to business. Our Adviser Support team offers excellent support for queries about existing cases, whilst our Sales Executive team is in place to provide a smooth business experience for new introducers.
Our business has been growing steadily and with the recent introduction of SmartSIPP and SimSIPP, along with the well established MasterSIPP, we offer a wide range of retirement solutions to meet most investor’s situations.
SmartSIPP is built on the essential cornerstones of choice, value, flexibility and administration expertise. It offers a range of platforms and stockbroker access combined with a trusted and quality service. Online functionality is at its core, as well as smart pricing and proposition.
SimSIPP offers access to a number of investment managers that have close electronic links with our systems. A cost effective option, the process of dealing with a SIPP with only one investment manager is streamlined.
MasterSIPP offers a wider range of options for those looking for the greatest flexibility from Suffolk Life. Investments include commercial property and the option to use multiple platforms and investment via alternative routes.
We administer all of our SIPPs on a bespoke in-house administration system which powers all the company systems through one central database. It is a simple internal exercise to move investors between the above options, without a need for a pension transfer, so the SIPP can grow in line with investor requirements. Our SIPPs all offer capped and flexible drawdown so there in no need to transfer between them to take advantage of the full range of retirement options.
We have sponsored the IFP for a number of years and appreciate the relationship we have with the organisation and its members. We will be in attendance at the IFP Conference 2012 later in the year and look forward to meeting old and new faces there.
