IFP Corporate member profile: ETF Securities
ETF Securities: Striving to help Financial Planners gain greater understanding of ETFs.
ETF Securities is one of the world's leading exchange-traded product (ETP) providers and a pioneer in commodity ETPs.
Our work in this asset class is complemented by a range of investment solutions including currency and thematic equity ETPs. Our management team listed the world's first gold ETP in 2003.
The listing of commodities on regulated stock exchanges was a pioneering development. It provided investors with an efficient new method of gaining exposure to changes in commodity prices without having to take physical delivery of them.
ETF Securities has been working alongside the Institute of Financial Planning and its members to help promote deeper understanding of the investment marketplace.
In the post-RDR world a growing number of investors are embracing the use of ETPs for strategic and tactical asset allocation.

Our mission is to increase and improve the educational material available to planners, both in respect to the asset classes available through our products and also in respect of ETPs generally. We are striving to deliver best of breed products, insightful investment research and excellent client service.
Planners are a key part of our strategy and it is therefore important that we work closely with them. ETF Securities is uniquely positioned to help members keep abreast of global development trends and seize on commodity and currency-related investment opportunities as they emerge.
We see ETPs as the investment tool of the future and as a top provider we feel that we had to have an obligation to improve the quality of educational material made available.
