IFP members encouraged to plan for Financial Planning Week
The Institute of Financial Planning is reminding members to start planning for this year's Financial Planning Week.
Financial Planning Week is an annual event held at the end of November to promote Financial Planning.
This year it will take place between 24 November- 1 December.
Events organised by the IFP include a consumer survey carried out by YouGov, nationwide PR campaign and the new consumer Wayfinder site.
The Wayfinder site, which was launched earlier this year, will be used to provide consumers with tips and tools to improve their financial wellbeing.

The week is supported by Lionstrust, Prudential, Alliance Trust Savings and Aviva, which is hosting the launch event in November.
IFP members are encouraged to hold activities such as Financial Planning surgeries, drop-in events at their firm and presentations in local schools.
They could also appear on local radio and television and write articles and case studies for the media.
Sue Whitbread, IFP communications director, said: "The 2012 Financial Planning Week was a great success and 2013 will build on its achievements. This is our opportunity to work together as a profession, to share the expertise and knowledge that we have in order to help people across the UK become more 'financially fit' and, at the same time, put Financial Planning on the map."
