IFW returns to in-person wellbeing conference for Planners
The Initiative for Financial Wellbeing (IFW) is to return to an in-person, one-day annual conference for Financial Planners to be held in Bristol on 25 May.
The conference follows two virtual events in 2020 and 2021.
The in-person conference aims to educate Financial Planners and equip them with tools and resources to help their clients achieve a more fulfilling relationship with money.
The conference will include a mix of keynote speakers from the wellbeing space with breakout sessions on workplace wellbeing, how Paraplanning can enhance a financial wellbeing service and practical examples of how implementing financial wellbeing can enhance client relationships.
Speakers & facilitators include:
- Dawn Turner – Independent Advisor and Non-Executive with expertise in Responsible Investment, Sustainable Finance and Environmental, Social and Governance risks: Financial Planning: New World/New You
- Andrew Manson – Chief Marketing Officer, Aegon: Financial Wellbeing – connecting values and investments
- Alison Gray from Wellthy Australia: The Wellness Link: Incorporating Wellbeing into your Service Approach – Subtle shifts in perspective can lead to enhanced outcomes in life satisfaction, relationships and health, which is what most clients ultimately want!
- Rohan Sivajoti – Speaker on diversity in the financial sector and founder of NextGen Planners
- Simonne Gnessen – Wise Monkey Financial Coaching
- Charlie Goodman – Employee Benefits Collective LLP: Workplace Wellbeing

Chris Budd, chairman of the IFW, said “We are so excited to finally host this event face-to-face after the restrictions we’ve all endured in the last couple of years. As a member-led organisation it’ll give us all a fantastic opportunity to build on the relationships we’ve forged during the pandemic and take away some incredible insights from all our speakers.”
The conference is open to members and non-members and will be CPD-accredited. Ticket prices for members are £225 ex VAT and for non-members £250 ex VAT.
The IFW is a non-profit organisation which launched in September 2019. It is a membership-based body providing research, tools and knowledge focused on the growth of financial wellbeing.
