Richard Charnock, the former CEO of Abrdn Capital, has joined the board of Handelsbanken Wealth & Asset Management as an independent director.
Mr Charnock, also a former CEO at Standard Life Wealth, has worked in financial services for several decades and has held senior roles at Abrdn, Standard Life and Lloyds Bank.
He has also been active in promoting diversity and inclusion in financial services, and helped lead the securities industry's ethics and integrity agenda following the financial crisis.
