Iress adds AI adviser assistant integration to Xplan
Iress has added integration with artificial intelligence-powered adviser assistant tool PlannerPal to its cloud-based advice and wealth management software Xplan.
It is the fifth new integration for Xplan so far in 2024.
PlannerPal uses AI technology to generate meeting transcripts, actionable summaries and written follow-ups.
Integrating PlannerPal with Xplan will enable Planners to track client interactions, recall client information and automatically generate client emails and documentation in the adviser’s style and format.
Iress claims that PlannerPal could help advisers ‘take charge’ of their Consumer Duty obligations.
Alex Hore, managing director of UK wealth at Iress, said: “The team at PlannerPal share our view that technology should help advice firms work smarter and more efficiently. We know advisers spend too much time on administration and low-value tasks and AI technology can change this.”
Mark Whitcroft, CEO of PlannerPal, added: “While AI technology has advanced rapidly, it’s crucial to have the right tools tailored to your specific role and need. PlannerPal empowers advisers and their teams to harness AI without disrupting established workflows.”
