Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth adds 2 partners
Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth has recruited two new partners to its Newbury and Chichester offices in the Tax, Trusts and Estates team.
Joining from Hunters in London, partner Andrew Parry has expertise in lifetime and post-death tax and succession planning, wills, trusts and powers of attorney. He has significant experience of advising the owners of landed estates and rural businesses, private individuals, trustees of private trusts and charities.
As well as being a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Mr Parry is a fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
David Bird has been appointed by Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth’s Chichester office. Mr Bird has expertise in tax and trust law and advises on tax planning for a variety of clients including business owners, shareholders in private companies and families with inherited wealth.
As well as being a solicitor, Mr Bird is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor more than 20 years ago, he worked in financial services where he gained investment, insurance and pension qualifications. He works with a number of financial advisers and accountants for various types of clients.
