ISA to fund film and entertainment ventures
Savers can now fund film projects with their ISA with the FYZZ, an Innovative Finance ISA specialising in funding film and entertainment ventures.
The Fyzz ISA is offered through The Fyzz Facility Capital plc and its sister company The Fyzz Facility Limited, an asset-backed lender to the entertainment industry with a 7-year history of loan based investments into feature film and TV projects.
The providers say the Fyzz ISA offers returns of up to 5% per annum over a 60-month term, as well as the normal tax-benefits of ISA products.
Investments are diversified across a large number of individual entertainment lending opportunities and savers will be able to follow the projects they are supporting from pre-production to cinemas.
Wayne Marc Godfrey, joint chief executive of The Fyzz Facility said: “When we started The Fyzz Facility in 2010, we had the mission to build a business that would support the creation and production of world class independent films through a debt based lending strategy that offers investor returns competitive with other alternative sectors.
“Over the last seven years The Fyzz Facility has more than made good on its intention and has established itself as one of the preeminent lenders in the industry.”
Joint chief executive Robert Jones added: “Through The Fyzz ISA, for the first time, we are offering UK savers the opportunity to participate in this exciting investment arena at a much lower entry point that has previously been possible.
“With as little as £2,000 (capped at £20,000 per annum) savers can now invest alongside our existing high net worth clients and help bring independent films to the big screen.”
