The FCA has warned investors this week to beware of persistent scammers trying to clone the Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) website.

For my last column of 2023, rather than give you my eagerly-awaited insights into the latest developments in the Financial Planning profession and financial services, I thought it would be useful to look at other worthwhile things that Financial Planners do when they are not providing financial advice.

The FCA has warned that it will intervene on the sale of client banks if selling firms fail to make clear any redress liabilities. 

The FCA has issued a public warning about an unauthorised investment firm called Charles Dickins Ltd (sic) which may be providing or promoting financial services products without permission.
