Wealth manager Quilter is to open up its HNW propositions to external independent financial advisers working with wealthy clients.

New research suggests that wealthier investors are the most likely to be victims of financial scams with 49% of those with assets of £250,000 or more saying they have been victims.

Wealth manager and Financial Planning firm Quilter has re-structured its business, shifting focus towards high net worth and affluent clients. 

Wealth firm and fund manager Close Brothers Asset Management has acquired a Chartered Financial Planning partnership which focuses on working with HNW client families and manages nearly £300m in assets.
