LangCat adds policy tracker to regulation software
The LangCat has added a policy tracker to its regulation software for financial services firms.
The forward-looking and searchable policy planning tool, named Tracker, has launched with 100 policy issues that are already happening or planned for the future.
It has been made available to subscribers of The LangCat's due diligence software tool Analyser at no additional cost.
The LangCat said the tool will continue to be updated to help financial services firms stay on top of any policy developments that will likely impact them and their customers.
Policy issues include details of the latest government and regulatory consultations, trade body campaigns and information, discussion papers, and overall policy developments.
Monitoring and regular updating will be conducted by The LangCat’s regulatory and public affairs team. They will also provide analysis of what any proposed changes might entail.
Alison Gay, senior public affairs consultant at the lang cat said: “We know firms want to stay on top of regulatory developments, but there’s so much going on that it’s difficult to monitor everything. To do it properly is time intensive and expensive. Tracker, from the lang cat, will help regulated firms of all sizes see what’s coming down the line, prioritise what’s important, work out what it all means for them and their customers, and help identify proposition threats and opportunities.”
Financial Planning firms can access Tracker via The LangCat's Analyser software. They can sign up to a free trial via the firm's website.
