Financial Planners have until Monday 21 January to book discounted tickets to the Institute of Financial Planning social media conference. The one-day conference, held in the City of London, will take place on Thursday 28 February. The practical and interactive session is suitable for both people new to social media and regular users who want to improve their knowledge. Speakers include Justine Priestley from Really Bright Media on how to use film and media to showcase your business and Bridget Greenwood from Financial Social Media on how to integrate social media into your business with care. {desktop}{/desktop}{mobile}{/mobile} Sessions will cover the opportunities and challenges posed by social media, how to be more effective on social media and how to use it to connect with new and existing clients. It will look at areas such as marketing, compliance, operations and advertising to see where social media could be a benefit for firms. Delegates will also have the opportunity to take part in practical sessions on sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Early-booking discount tickets costs £105 for IFP members and £147 for non-members. After this date, the tickets will go up to £130 for IFP members and £182 for non-members. The conference is valid for six hours of structured CPD.
