Less than a month until IFP Scottish Conference
There is less than a month until the IFP Scottish Conference in Glasgow on 14-15 November.
The event follows the successful IFP Conference held at the start of October.
There are two major changes to the event, the first is the location change from Edinburgh to Glasgow and the addition of a best practice workshop on the first day exclusively for IFP members.
Speakers include Dan Priestley on becoming a key person of influence in Financial Planning, behavioural finance from Prof. Stephen Thomas of Cass Business School and tax and Financial Planning from Tony Wickenden of Technical Connection.
It also features value propositions from Abbie Tanner from A Business Innovation and Don Fraser from Grant Thornton on how to help your clients lead fulfilled lives.
The event will be chaired by Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP.
He said: “The Financial Planning professional community in Scotland is particularly strong and its annual conference always benefits from a particularly positive atmosphere.
“We’ve got lots of great sessions and speakers including the powerful Daniel Priestley, I’m really looking forward to chairing the conference which will be the Financial Planning event of the year in Scotland.”
Tickets for the conference, workshop and dinner cost £225 while tickets for the conference on Tuesday only cost £125.
The conference will be held at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel and is worth eight CPD points.
