Less than a week to go until Morningstar Investment Conference
There is less than a week to go until the sixth annual Morningstar Investment Conference is held on 15-16 May.
The conference, held at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London, is an annual event drawing more than 400 delegates from the UK and Europe.
The two day event is a mixture of speakers, interviews and panel debates and is supported by the Institute of Financial Planning.
Speakers include well-known economists, investment specialists and fund managers.
Matthew Dobbs, fund manager at Schroders, Nigel Bolton, fund manager at Blackrock, Chris Taylor, investment director at Neptune and Phil Milburn, investment manager at Kames Capital are all speaking over the two days.
Hendrik du Toit, chief executive of Investec Asset Management, will be interviewed by Richard Romer-Lee from OBSR.
There will also be panel debates with panelists including Nick Cann, chief executive of the Institute of Financial Planning, John Chatfeild-Roberts from Jupiter Asset Management and Iain Stewart from BNY Mellon.
International investments feature widely with presentations on the outlook in Asia, European business, Japan and renaissance in China.
All speakers are invited by personal invitation only rather than paying to be featured which means the agenda is purely educational without any product pitches.
The two days are both credited for CPD purposes.
New for this year is the ‘Morningstar Investment Conference Mobile App’ which is available for use with Apple, Blackberry, Android and Windows Mobile devices.
This will allow users to take part in live polling during conference sessions, pose questions to speakers, view speakers’ biographies, network with other delegates and access related videos and articles.
