Advisers are to be offered a web based “live chat” session as part of a new technical support service provided by a pensions firm.
Yorsipp said it would make advisers’ lives easier by offering online guidance including a dedicated technical mailbox and the ability to schedule a live instant message chat session.
Mark Canning, head of business development at Yorsipp, said: “We are pleased to be enhancing the support we offer advisers, particularly at a time when many providers are scaling back their field based support.
“It is vital that advisers have access to this level of support at this current time especially. We are seeing a huge uplift in the pension led funding (PLF) market.
“And with many advisers either entering the market for the first time, or returning to it, as a result of 'pension freedoms' opportunities there is an even greater need for quality, technical support across the full range of Sipp and SSAS pension offerings.
By offering both field based and remote face to face support we can provide appropriate guidance for advisers in whichever format suits them best."
To celebrate the new offering Yorsipp is entering all advisers who use the web-based service before the end of March into a draw to make a £250 donation to the charity of their choice.
