Major firms make additions to their platforms
AXA Wealth and Ascentric have both made additions to their platforms.
AXA Wealth has partnered with Sipp expert Pointon York while Ascentric has partnered with Hawksmoor Investment Management.
AXA Wealth has partnered with Sipp expert Pointon York to offer investments for Sipp clients through the AXA Elevate platform.
The partnership will give advisers access to Pointon York’s corporate Sipp, a flexible drawdown product which compliments the AXA Wealth proposition.
David Thompson, managing director of AXA Wealth UK distributors, said: “Elevate’s partnership with Pointon York brings to market further opportunities for advisers using the platform to access Sipp expertise without deviating far from the platform.”
Ascentric has partnered with Hawksmoor Investment Management as a discretionary fund manager.
Advisers using the Ascentric platform can now access Hawksmoor’s four actively managed and three passively managed discretionary model portfolios.
Ascentric now has 23 separate DFMs available on its platform.
Dominic Ventham, head of marketing at Ascentric, said: “In a low return investment environment, advisers are looking for a cost effective DFM strategy to support their advice process.
“The addition of Hawksmoor very much supports this trend and gives advisers more choice around their DFM solutions, important when assessing suitability for their clients.”
