Financial Planner and wealth manager Perspective Financial Group has launched a joint venture with tax specialist accountancy firm TaxAssist.
TaxAssist Plus Financial Planning will provide clients of the accountancy firm with access to Perspective Financial Planners and wealth management services.
Under the deal, Perspective has acquired TaxAssist Direct Financial Services Limited (FRN:971520), the wealth management arm of TaxAssist headquartered in Norwich, for an undisclosed sum.
The arm was launched in 2022 and employs 15 financial advisers acting as appointed representatives of 2 Plan Wealth Management.

Perspective said the deal provided a blueprint for future partnerships.

He added that the firm continues to look for more acquisitions and partnership opportunities. Perspective has acquired over 130 firms since 2008, including 20 firms in 2025.
Most recently, earlier this month, it acquired Glasgow-based Phoenix Wealth Solutions, making its first move into Scotland.
In the first quarter of this year it acquired six Financial Planning firms as part of an expansion drive. In December it announced takeovers of three firms, adding £650m in assets under management, 1,800 households as clients and 36 new employees.
Other recent acquisitions include: In August Perspective acquired 5 firms. In April Perspective reported that it had completed nine acquisitions this year, adding £900m in assets under advice. Perspective completed five acquisitions in December 2024, adding £375m of assets under advice.
