Quilter’s David Tiller dies at 56 on walking holiday
David Tiller, commercial and propositions director at wealth manager and Financial Planner Quilter, has died at 56 while on a walking holiday with friends.
Mr Tiller passed away on 28 December while on a break in the Lake District.
Mr Tiller worked in the wealth management sector for many years in a variety of Financial Planning, platform and technology positions and enjoyed a successful 20 year career at Standard Life.
He also held non-executive roles at Origo, Criterion and Tenet.
He joined Quilter to lead its commercial and propositions teams in September 2021.
Steven Levin, CEO of Quilter, said: “We are all desperately saddened by the news of David’s passing and our condolences and thoughts are with his family at this time.
“We have benefited from David’s deep industry knowledge, and I feel grateful to have worked with him. He had already made a significant impact in our business and had brought together people from across our proposition, product and marketing teams to help us create more compelling client and adviser propositions. He will be greatly missed by us all at Quilter.”
Mr Tiller was also a regular contributor to the financial media, and regular commentator in articles on Financial Planning Today.
