Titan Wealth acquires Telford Mann
Wealth manager Titan Wealth is to acquire Chartered Financial Planning firm Telford Mann for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition is expected to complete this month.
Kettering-based Telford Mann was established by Moore Chartered Accountants in 1988 and has assets under administration of £750m for over 3,500 clients.
Telford Mann provides Financial Planning services for individuals and businesses and a range of model portfolios managed on a discretionary basis.
The firm has four offices: Kettering, Corby, Northampton and Peterborough.
Joint managing directors Jon Telford and Jilly Mann will remain with the business for two years to facilitate a smooth transfer to part of the Titan group.
Mr Telford said: “From our early conversations, we quickly felt that Titan Wealth would be a valuable partner to take Telford Mann into the next stage of its growth.
“Jilly and I are incredibly proud of what we achieved together, and we look forward to working with the team at Titan over the next two years to ensure a seamless transfer of management, for our colleagues and our clients.”
Titan said its acquisition of Telford Mann further expands the group’s capabilities and its ability to deliver investment and platform services.
Andrew Fearon, joint CEO and head of M&A at Titan Wealth, said: “The acquisition of Telford Mann represents an exciting opportunity for Titan and brings a high-quality business into the Group with the scope to further grow EBITDA over the coming years. Titan is increasingly well-positioned to pursue our ambitious growth targets, meet and drive further demand for our integrated client to custody model of investment and platform services.”
The acquisition is one of several made recently by Titan which acquired Tavistock Wealth Limited for up to £40m in cash and a ten-year earn out from Tavistock Investments in 2021.
